Lefa Promotions is an events management company formed in 2011 in the mining town of Phalaborwa in Limpopo Province. It is a legal entity formerly registered with CIPC in May 2012 and administered by professionals to better empower and conserve the culture of recreation in the province and nationally.
The company trades mainly in coordinating music concerts, corporate functions, corporate public relations services and artists management services. The company also offers diversified services such as: PR Campaigns, coordinating campaigns and rallies, Media relations, Compile marketing strategies for companies, Hire of sound, stage, lighting, crowd barriers and generators, and Outdoor advertising.
Lefa Promotions initially emerged with the purpose of conserving the African culture through traditional music from Southern Africa as a region. However, due to diversity in the entertainment industry Lefa Promotions promotes various music genres including House, Gospel, Kwaito, Pop, Marimba and Poetry. Lefa promotions have by far hosted a series of successful events in the Mopani which featured well established artists.
Lefa Promotions has established a very fruitful relationship with media and radio stations. such as Capricorn FM, SABC’s Mungana lonene FM and community radio station, Phalaborwa FM, and it has hosted successful music concert by working with these two radio stations, but this does not limit us from working with any other media or station. The motto “art and humankind meet” was coined due to a unanimous consensus amongst the socio-cultural believers that art advocates for the expression of human opinion and interests.
